This is possibly the most underrated Italian restaurant i...

This is possibly the most underrated Italian restaurant in all of Boston. This place is awesome — tiny hole in the wall atmosphere, shoddy insulation in the winter, but the most amazing Italian food in the whole city. The portions are large, prices are reasonable, and because everyone else is in the North End, you don’t have to wait forever for a table. It’s truly a hidden gem in Allston.

Awesome italian meal! Great place to go for a reasonable and delicious italian meal. They really know how to cook! Make you feel like you'r ein the fanciest italian spot - when you're not even in the city!

the best italian outside the north end

Carlo's is hands down the best italian food for a very reasonable price. they have a nice house chianti and the gnocchi is probably the best i have ever had. their red sauce is perfect!
