Awesome -- simply awesome!
I grew up in Vista in the 1970’s and 1980’s — graduated VHS in 1989. Pepper Tree Frosty had been a constant growing up, and I am relieved to know that it is a constant even today!
As a child, after going to the park or the harbor or the beach, my dad would take us to Pepper Tree for a soft serve vanilla ice cream dipped in hot fudge. As I got older, I was allowed to order shakes and malts. The Boston Shake — a shake with a sundae on top of it — it’s divine! In high school, I would go there for burgers before the football games.
All of the food there is fresh, tasty, and wonderful. After so many decades, it is wonderful to know that it’s still as amazing as when I was a child. I highly recommend Pepper Tree!

Awesome
If you want over 30 different milkshakes, sundaes, dip cones, slushies, etc., then this is the place to go. It’s like being a little kid again. I usually go either for the chocolate soda, or the chocolate vanilla swirl dip cone. Then go around to the hot food window. Their burgers are classic, the fries are nice and crispy and the family that runs it is super nice and there every day, and they’ll usually remember your name and what you order.
