From the Restaurant
The storied corner of Melrose and Kilkea is once again pulsing with excitement as the father and son team of David and Kia Illulian recast the legendary Moustache Cafe as Chocolat. This masterful transformation has defined Chocolat as a true temple of modern American cuisine, seamlessly weaving French, Italian, Asian and Nuevo Latino influences into an enticing array of classic dishes ranging from Omelets to Ossso Buco. The aroma of freshly baked souffles, our signature dessert, wafts
through Chocolat, an enticing reminder of the glorious creation from which we take our name. The soul, style and spirit of Chocolat however, is to be found in its staff, a dazzling ensemble whose gracious service sets the tone for a celebration of life's greatest pleasures, fusing sensational food, fabulous drinks and sparkling conversation. Reservations are accepted for full course meals only.

new name, same great food.
i have been coming to this restaurant since it was called “moustache cafe.” the food is still as good and the prices are very reasonable. my favorite is the seafood linguini.. the duck salad is good.. and the rack of lamb is terrific. the souffle is overrated.. try the creme brulee instead.
