From the Restaurant
Smith & Wollensky is a spacious, richly designed restaurant, divided into intimate dining areas inspired by turn-of-the-century interiors and a wonderful outdoor bar and patio. Many guests opt to begin their meal with a towering seafood bouquet, tiers of fresh shellfish, served with a variety of sauces. The stars of the menu offerings are the tender and flavorful USDA Prime steaks, dry-aged and butchered on site. Other main course options seafood, poultry, pork, and lamb ensure that there is something to please every appetite. Classic steakhouse side dishes make a memorable dining experience with favorites like creamed spinach, corn off the cob, and truffled macaroni and cheese featured. All guests must save room for our housemade desserts, including "Store-Bought" Cheesecake, 5 Layer Chocolate Cake and Carrot Cake. Our Great American Wine List includes an amazing variety of wines from across the U.S. with a section of Undiscovered Gems, lesser known wines of outstanding quality.

On Par - D.C. Steakhouse
We visited S&W on a Saturday night to celebrate my dad’s birthday and father’s day. The service and atmosphere and menu were on par with Morton’s, Ruths Chris and the Palm.
The prime rib was excellent. The wine list is national and acceptable. The made to order donuts and chocolate cake were great.
It was a good experience overall.
