The first thing that struck me about Ziveli was how quiet and deserted it was. We arrived around 2 pm, 4 hours after they had opened and there was no music, no customers, nothing. The atmosphere was interesting, and by that I mean that there was certainly a lot to look at… pictures and sculptures and kitchy Greek/Italian crap everywhere. The services was really good, but the food was not so much. We ordered souvlaki which in my opinion is pretty hard to mess up. It was very disappointing and greasy. I kept having to wipe my hands because oil kept getting everywhere. The steamed vegetables seemed like they had been frozen and my pork was very fatty. Plus we could hear and smell everything that was happening in the kitchen and dish room while we waited for our food. Opa is 50 times more delicious and 50 times cheaper. I won’t be going back.
