nice place, tasty thai
if you want a nice, semi-elegant place to eat then give amarin a try. it works for couples, large groups of friends, or families as they can accommodate any size it seems. it is a bit loud, but there’s outside patio seating on castro and in the back.
we asked our thai friend what she thought of the food here, and she seemed to think it wasn’t anything special, but nonetheless a good place to eat.

your standard pad thai dish. you’ll get a large serving, and definitely is a great dish to share family style.

mildly refreshing. i enjoyed this as it was something i’d never really eaten before.

tom yum soup
the tamarind taste is prominent, and the mix of vegetables and seafood in this soup made it fun to eat and a continuous surprise.
