FLIP FLOPZ & TIKI TOPZ

These people have spent a ton of money on this place, and it shows. I think it is the most spectacular bar/restaurant in all the Wildwoods and when they open the pool, nothing will compare to it. And that’s a shame because apparently the money ran out so they skimped on the food and the chef. Drinks are expensive, but someone has to pay for the place and the view, so OK. Not so with the food, not OK. Spectacular places should never serve so-so food and it’s so-so at best. I’m searching hard for a compliment, here. The burger was huge, hand-made, looked great and tasted like the cheapest ground meat I ever had! Coconut shrimp could have been store-bought frozen. Fries are horrible, with a tiny shake of Old Bay serving as “Crab Fries”. There is absolutely nothing good to say about this dining experience except that the waitsaff is great. Many came from the old Anglesea Pub and know how to serve the summer crowd. Eat elsewhere and go to Tiki Topz, have a cold one, and look at the Ocean. Even a Boardwalk hot dog would be better.

Save your money. A McDonald’s burger would taste the same.

Was impressed with the atmosphere but the food, BORING!

First off I want to say the place was very nice, relaxing and welcoming to our family, we have 2 smalls boys. I have to say on the other hand the food was bland, expensive and the portions were small for the price. I had ordered mussels over linguine and the broth was so thin and tasteless and the muscles tasted fishy for $17.99 and I did not get a salad or a choice of a vegetable and my husband ordered the seafood trio for $23.99 and it came in a small crock that looked like it was for a Barbie doll, mind you we are not big eaters and usually wrap all of our food to go but we were still hungry afterwards. I will compliment them on the kids meals for $5.99 the kids got a huge grilled cheese and a bucket of French fries that were pretty good. All in all I would not go there again and I would recommend it to people without kids who have money because the prices are extremely high.
