a salad at claim jumper?
yup, I got a salad at Claim Jumpers. Normally I’d go for ribs or some other kind of hearty meat, but it’s too soon after Thanksgiving and I needed something sorta “healthy”. So…I went for the Cobb Salad :P It’s sort of half-way between a meat dish and a salad but it makes you feel better about yourself.
Claim Jumper seems to have gotten a little pricier lately but the food and ambience is still pretty good. Since they made some changes a few years ago, it hasn’t been quite the same (no salad bar now), but that also means the dinner wait isn’t bad at all now. So if it’s a busy eating out night and you can’t get in anywhere else, check out this Claim Jumper.

Chopped Cobb Salad
Generous amounts of grilled chicken, bacon, egg and cheese – now that’s a salad. The ratio of meat to salad was very even (which was great for my meat quota) and the dressing wasn’t too overdone. A very nice alternative to a steak or ribs.
