I’ve eaten here maybe 5 times over the years, and every meal has been completely disappointing.

Nice decor, though the foie gras isn’t the best I’ve tasted. However, it’s pretty spacious for a New York City restaurant.

Upon Lynnie’s invite, I was lucky enough to experience one of Chanterelle’s Sunday Salons: Seduced by Spain, Queso y Vino. Granted, they snuck in a Wisconsin cheese in the mix, but I was so thrilled after having just returned from Spain, who cares? It’s wonderful because the seatings are casual and you get to learn about the region – the perfect compliments to what you’re having while listening to live local music, in this case Spanish guitar. And you meet the eclectic personalities. I haven’t had a regular meal here, but I look forward to the next Sunday Salon.
