What’s not to love about a place that does not use MSG, lard or freezers? Exactly!
Charo Chicken offers Mexican food, ranging from chicken burritos to Thai chicken items.
Thai chicken items? Yes, you read it correctly. They have approximately four Thai chicken items for around $5.99 available at this particular Charo Chicken. I’ve tried the Thai Chicken Tostada and while it may not exactly be authentic Thai cuisine, it was nonethless good!
In regards to the restaurant, it’s small. However, there’s seating available inside and outside of the restaurant. There’s a salsa bar, a place to get your fountain drinks (or iced tea), free mints, bathrooms and walls decorated with information regarding Charo Chicken (ie. the history behind Charo Chicken).
Customer service is okay. I say okay, simply because there’s a pro and con to the customer service here. Pro: If you’re eating in, they actually bring your food to the table you’re sitting at. I guess it’s similar to Jack in the Box’s way of doing things. Con: My mom did not receive all of her change from the cashier after paying for her food.
If you’re craving chicken, mexican food or limited Thai food, give this place a try. You probably won’t be disappointed.
