Great for groups and hurricanes
The most unique thing about Nolas is the building – they’ve recreated a piece of New Orleans right in downtown Palo Alto. It’s got little streets with drunk people walking around, open courtyards, and of course beads! The location is so large that there are plenty of places for groups of all sizes and you might even get a private room.
The place can get very crowded, so try to make reservations if you have a large group and make sure everyone is on time since they won’t seat you until the whole group is there.
-
Hurricane
Tasty and strong!
-
Cornbread stuffed Pork Chops
Tender with a fantastic sauce. Great bacon dressing on the side.
-
Bread Pudding
Warm and soft with a very sweet pecan sauce
fun place, but average food
The atmosphere is festive and lively, but its just like New Orleans. You don’t go for the food, you go for the crowd and the drinking. The food is on the pricey side and sadly, I think Gordon Biersch has better food.
The menu is full of comfort foods though. And almost all the dishes have a little spiciness
-
Skirt Steak Po Boy
not very good. taste of the onion rings overpowers the steak
