I am visiting the same restuarant after 4 months the food used to be good in the initial stage they had a Chef from ChennaiI
This time I went with a friend for dinner on the 14th November at about 8,00pm, even though the restuarant was not busy, it took 10 minutes for us to be seated.
We ordered Sura puttu and chkn pepper fry, Egg Parota, and Fish Curry.
The Sura puttu came with just a table spoon of fish and the rest was all coconut, they have changed the way the dish is made, and it was lacking in taste and the fish was spoilt. The pepper chkn was okay.
The chicken curry has lost its chettinad authenticity, the rice that came with the curry looked like was already served to some other table and reused. The water tasted bad.
Over all we found out from the surrounding the Original Ponnusamy has nothing to do with this restuarant and it is just a namesake.
The egg parotta was very thick and nothing like parotta.
The real Chettinad chef who was there in the begining is not there anymore, even the people in the service are all new.
Presently serving deplorable food and luring customers to come and get disappointed, very bad I would not recomend this place to anyone stay away from this.
We asked the waiter if the meat is Hallal, and he told us sometimes some quantity is halal and some quantity is non halal like chicken is not hallal
beware of such place which claim to serve halal meat but do not serve the same
