Not really for in dining, but the location is great for school kids since it’s right next to the high school on Colfax. Their home delivery is quick and inexpensive and worth it! Wednesdays have been delivered before the time limit, and I am happy.

They have a very extensive menu which always satisfies the whole family.

You must get their steamed dumplings! They are the best this side of town!

I have been looking for a good chinese restaurant in Denver. China Star has been the best so far. The crab meat cheese wontons, steamed dumplings and egg drop soup are delicious. My only complaints are they charge extra for crunchy noodles for the soup and you most request hot mustard when they used to include it. Good for delivery and take-out. I don’t know if I would want to eat in. The dining room is not all that nice. Overall a good pick for the food.

This place has great food. The atmosphere is lacking. They definitely could use some work in the dining room, but service is good. We eat in and take out, depending on our mood. The crab meat cheese wonton and steamed dumplings are awesome! We’ve tried quite a few things on their menu and have not been disappointed. They are very friendly too!
