4.0Church’s makes KFC seem like fried chicken for chumps. Granted KFC was never really good in the first place. We took everything to go, and everything I ate, was crispy, crunchy and quite delicious
The fried chicken is not overly fried. The layer of friedness isn’t overdone, where it doesn’t dominate the chicken underneath. A good balance. The crispiness also never got soggy or anything. The biscuits here probably taste the best alone. The macaroni was rich and gooey. We also got some of this fried corn thing. It was this bite sized fried thing, with creamed corn in it or something. It was a different taste, and easy to just eat a bunch of.
Church’s a chicken chain worth checking out in my opinion. I haven’t really had Popeye’s though, so I can’t really compare the two chains. All I can say is I ate too much fried chicken, and wasn’t hungry for a LONG time. Probably all that oil. =D
The meat is tender and not dry. The fried parts were not in excessive amounts.
Already buttered biscuits, with a slight crisp to it. You could end up eating a bunch of these.
Super cheesy and gooey. While really tasty, also standard fare for mac and cheese.
