Good food and great ambiance

I ordered the cowboy ribeye, a gigantic steak that was cooked and seasoned to perfection. My wife ordered the special, tilapia encased in a fish shaped puff pastry. She was delighted with the presentation and the taste, cooked just right with hints of a buttery yet delicate herb sauce. We also ordered crawfish beignets for the appetizer and greatly enjoyed them, They were very tasty with a spicy sauce on the side. For dessert, we split the bananas foster souffle (which we neglected to order with our entree so it took a while). it was worth the wait, though a bit too sweet for my wife. A very good place with excellent service. A bit noisy on a Friday night with a bar crowd gathered around the front bar.

One of My Favorites

I love this restaruant and eat here both for business and date night. The seared fois gras is delicious, as is the lobster bisque (although I have sent it back for being too cold; it’s so good I forgave them). I have tried several of the entrees: fish, lamb, beef and all were outstanding. The service is generally very good, bordering on over-attentive sometimes, which is way better than being ignored. The chef has come to our table on two occaisions to introduce himself and inquire about our meals. The wine list is pretty good, with a decent selection and price range. The chef treated us to a chocolate souffle one date night; now we always order it when ordering dinner. The restaurant can get a little loud, which can make dinner conversation more difficult, so that’s important, I’d suggest going a little earlier or later when it’s not so full.
