Beef, it's what's for dinner.
I had heard many stories of the 7 courses of beef. I tried it here at Anh Hong for the first time and walked away indifferent about the meal. The food was decent enough for me to recommend trying it once for the experience of tasting 7 different ways of preparing beef; however, once was enough.
Setting: Casual
Service: Informative, but a bit slow at times

Seven Courses of Beef
The beef salad was alright. It tasted like a spring roll without the wrapper. The rice porridge was tasty, almost like how the chinese make theirs. The two different types of beef sausage was nothing special, but still tasty enough for me to down a few.

Seven Courses of Beef!!!!
I kid you not! The specialty item on the menu here is their seven courses of beef!
Let’s start the list:
1. Special Beef Salad
2. Beef Fondue (red wine vinegar sauce)
3. Steamed Beef Meat Balls
4. Beef Wrapped in Hawaiian Lot Leaf
5. Grilled Beef Sausages
6. Beef Grilled with Lemon Grass
7. Beef Rice Soup
Dessert: Beef flavored ice cream.
ok, just kidding about the dessert.
This may sound a little overwhelming, but there’s a good mix of vegetables and lettuce wraps where it doesn’t feel like you’re a complete glutton for beef. Definitely worth checking out. And be sure to eat your vegetables to keep the bowels moving after this meal. ha!

Pretty good Vietnamese food tucked away
I’m used to eating pho when it comes to Vietnamese food. However, this time, it was something different.
The restaurant was very casual and nothing fancy about it. It’s not a place where people would just come by and go, “hey! let’s try that!” But it was definitely worth trying it out (thanks to friends’ rec).
Price is good and the food is tasty. Check it out if you’re around the neighborhood!

Seven Courses of Beef
I think that is what the name was, but it sure was good! I was full and enjoyed the variety of beef dish that came with this meal.
