old fashioned trying.....
This restaurant was not that hard to find, but we had some trouble.. We kept passing by it over and over… It’s just on Lake Washington Blvd right next to the volleyball courts…
I think this restaurant is very old fashioned (interior wise and how they serve the food). I read a few reviews online and other people describe it as an elegant casual restaurant… I thought it was just like an old restaurant TRYING to be a upscale restaurant…
I had the carpaccio of beef, and the fish special (halibut), with tiramisu and the henry estate pinot noir.
We shared our dessert. I thought their cheesecake was very soft/fluffy and light taste. It’s very enjoying….
I don’t think I’d go back there again and pay for what I paid. I think it was over priced for the atmosphere (though the view was NOT bad, it wasn’t great).
The Service was OK. We had our bread and was introduced with the specials right away. We got our drinks quickly.
Overall, I think ti’s just a OK restaurant…. I gave it 4 stars, because there are not many restaurants in Seattle that serves Beef of Carpaccio! I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant less you don’t drink wine and have money to spare…
