My friend and I were looking for a late breakfast and went to discover this place located on the intersection of St-Zotique and St-Andre.
The place is nothing fancy, it looks small but they have a bigger area in the back.
My friend’ ordered L’Intrigante. An omelette with pesto, dried tomatoes and goat’s cheese, but she requested the waiter to replace the cheese with cheddar and also to serve it on a Crêpe. About $11 for all.
I ordered La Mascarpomme, which is a Crêpe, filled with warm sliced apple and mascarpone cheese. It was really good, the apple was perfect, not overcooked and the taste was very nice, not too sure about the mascarpone cheese, it felt more like a thick and creamy sauce, but overall was good. This for less than $10.
Both dishes had a small portion of fruit and included coffee. (we never had to ask for refill!). I really think the service was great. As soon as we walked-in we were greeted by the staff and got our menu’s shortly after we sat down. Our waiter was very helpful and brought our orders almost immediately.
The only but’s are: The menu was only in french and the restaurant does not accept credit cards/debit cards. Just cash!.
