Arvada Grill - Big Disappointment. 8 months tops
This restaurant is definitely not the same caliber as Limon. The food is bland and no better then what you might find at an Applebees. The service however is worse. To begin with the hostess working sunday night (12/23) is terrible. She called a party of five together and as they were standing there waiting to be seated, she took a phone call and had them wait for 3 minutes. Second there should be at least two hostesses there seeing how she is never at the podium to greet guests. Our Server didn’t show up for 12 minutes after we were seated, she apologized but continued to make mistakes through out the dinner. Any drinks that needed refill’s we had to ask – twice and then she would bring them. The hostess asked how the service was and we gave her a list of our issues, her reply “Oh ok – thanks. I’ll get that water right away” and like our waitress we never saw her again. The servers bringing our food didn’t know what table we were at AND didn’t know what dishes they were even serving. Keep in my mind it was 6:30 and not very crowded at all. All of the servers were rushing, literally running in some cases, which I would take as a bad sign they don’t know what they are doing.

Chicken Mediora (sp)
It was chunks of their rotesserie chicken served on a pile of mashed potatoes with 4 twigs of asparagrass. It was bland and something I could have made with a grocery store chicken and boiling a few potatoes myself.

Shrimp Enchilada Stack
I don’t know how you would describe it. It looked like a 3 year old made it. The cheese wasn’t gooey but rather in between that state were it starts to melt. It was drenched in some “tomato sauce” that tasted like it was from a can. It had chunks of shrimp I’ll give it that, but that’s it.
