Crif Dogs

First off…Crif Dogs insists on deep frying their hot dogs in vats of oil. Fried hot dogs…yeah…and they are so good! You can even get it wrapped in bacon and then fried! But the treat here really is the toppings. A huge variety from pineapple to scallions to chili and more. Plus, they even have arnold palmer on tap! The atmosphere is great, too, and don’t be bothered by all the people trying to get into the phone booth and it’s false door, they’re just trying to get into PDT. I will say though that PDT has their own hot dog menu which includes hot dogs and toppings not available in the regular storefront! Even so, in my opinion, the best hot dog on the menu (on both, actually) is the jon jon deragon. Fried hot dog, cream cheese, scallion, and everything bagel spice. It’s just fantastic…

The hot dogs themselves aren’t anything special, but they do have crazy toppings like bacon + teriyaki + pineapple + onions (the “tsunami”).

It’s a fried hot dog. Fried meat = an absolute good. Plus old school arcade games! EVERYONE WINS
