The steaks were pretty standard fare, nothing extraordinarily special, especially considering the price. Side dishes were nice. Salad bar had iceberg lettuce that was shredded to a pulpy limp mess. Who does this, and WHY? The service was very good. The dining area has been ignored and untouched in decor for decades, clearly. Not even as clean as one would hope, in addition to being weirdly out-of-date. Someone may be resting on their laurels, here. It really needs an update ! The real deal at this restaurant is the reserve wine list. Since there are other choices headed towards Lynchburg diners, this restaurant may fall by the wayside if some new ideas aren’t infused.
