A nice night out.

It was an evening out to celebrate my wife’s birthday. We arrived after friends had told us of their experiences, some good some not so good. So we tried to have an open mind. We were greeted at the door and made to feel welcome from the start. Nice wine selection and we chose a half bottle of Shiraz. Little spendy, twice what it would cost in the store. What can you say about dry counties? Excellent service by the wait staff. Greeted within a minute of being seated, personality was pleasant but not overbearing. She knew the menu and recommended the Ahi over the Carpaccio. She also checked in on us and never caught us with a mouthful. All in all it was a nice night out.

What I ate:
  • *****

Just the right amount of zip! Great starter and no need for the lemon on the side. May be too much for the Arkansawyer palate who is only used to salt and pepper.

  • ****

Large portion, perfectly prepared, although it was a little fatty around the edge.

  • *****

Very nice, nothing to complain about.

  • *****

Wonderful and wish I had the recipe.

  • ***

Little bland. Although they arrived on the plate I could not detect the garlic and sun dried tomato flavor anywhere on the potato.

  • *****

Very nice end to our meal. Fruit served with it was fresh and ripe.

Pretentious Atmosphere

The entire day was spent anticipating this evening… one of the first evenings out while someone watched our son. I got dressed up, even wore patent leather heels. I looked FANTASTIC. We were celebrating birthdays (my husband and I) with my boss and his wife. Arrival – they have complimentary valet, how exciting! Well the complimentary valet (who I had cash in hand to tip) didn’t bother to move at all and then pointed us to a parking spot, after asking if I was being dropped off. I looked back at my husband, confused. So my husband parked while I waited at the entry way… that set the entire night. Steak’s were over cooked, under cooked, not cooked – it was horrible. Not only was the service sub par but they then “accidentally” charged us for the table next to us as well. Overall I was disappointed, I’ve been to the Ruth’s Chris in Atlanta, GA and it was amazing from beginning to end.
