This is truly a great restaurant. The food is fantastic. It is a blend of Latin American fare. The menu is extensive and they have many “tapas” or small dishes with a nice selection of main dishes. They make a number of the items in the wood burning oven….absolutely delicious. If you like this type of food, you can’t go wrong with this restaurant. I urge you to take a look at their menu. If I had one bad thing to say, is that it gets a little loud. Overall, it is a nice restaurant with a fun atmosphere. If you are looking for something more casual, I suggest trying the sister restaurant – Zafra. Zafra is BYO but Cucharamama has a full bar.
Delicious! Made in the wood burning oven
My favorite dish – Shrimp in a Spicy Peruvian Pepper Sauce, White Rice, Peruvian Canary Beans. The sauce is spicy – medium. It is a thick, creamy sauce.
