We really dig the food here!

As locals, we’re regulars here. We popped in last Saturday night and the joint was hoppin’! We were told there would be a 45 minute wait for a table, so we found a seat at the bar and waited.

Once seated, we were promptly waited on. We started with some baked clams which were good, as they always are.

For an entree we ordered the baked stuffed flounder, and I had the Crab cakes. Well…we waited for this for about an hour – which is unusual here, but there was a private party and the place was unusually busy – and it was worth the wait! I was afraid the the chef would rush to get meals out and maybe take a shortcut or two, but no – the food was superb and I really appreciated that he did not rush and took the time and care to be sure it came out perfect!

What I ate:
  • *****

perfect! fresh fish, not overcooked – just perfect!

  • *****

nice meaty crab cakes, perfectly seasoned and cooked.
