Best in Houston!
Football, cheerleaders, super sizes, bbq. That’s what Texas is known for. And in the land of superlatives (“Everything’s bigger in Texas”), I’m making a declaration – Harris County Smokehouse has the best bbq I’ve ever eaten in Houston.
However, I’m making a small disclaimer on this post… I’ve only been there once so I’m giving HCS four stars. If it’s as good the next time, I’m bumping it up to a 5.
I had turkey, brisket, and a plate of chili cheese fries. Turkey is incredibly tender and juicy, brisket was juicy and flavorful (ask for an extra moist cut), and fries were heart-stoppingly good.
