awesome & huge sandwiches

Forget subway and quizno’s, if you’re in the area, you should head to Ralph’s subs. It’s a quaint little shop where you can get huge sub sandwiches and a bottle of beer at the same time. Their small is big and their large is huge – it really hits the spot for those with big appetites (like me).

The menu board is awesome – it’s a bunch of pieces of paper tacked up all over the wall with different sandwich combos and there’s a few with names like “king kong” and “holey moley”.

The bread they use is nice and soft and they used diced tomatoes which makes it easy to eat. It’s run by koreans so there are also some sandwiches with bbq beef. yum.

What I ate:

The avocado is smushed and smeared all over inside the bottom of the bread so you pretty much get it in every bite. The meats were a bit salty, but the sandwich was otherwise very satisfying.

fresh subs

run by a pleasant korean husband & wife duo, ralph’s subs doesn’t look like much from the outside (or inside), but their subs are absolutely delicious. i’d take subs here over togo’s and subway’s any day. the prices used to be hard to beat, but they’ve gone up a few dollars since i last went. about $7 for a large sandwich.

What I ate:
  • *****

be prepared to wait a little if you order this sub – they gotta sautee the baby mushrooms, but it’s well worth the short wait. combined with the tasty slices of roast beef all on a freshly baked subway bun – definitely one of my favorite subs here.

another winner. this one’s my sister’s favorite sub, so we always get this. if you’re looking for something on the lighter side, and refreshing – this is a winning combo sub.
