From the Restaurant
The stylish design and chic decor of 3 Roux invites you to share a lively, inspiring and delicious dining experience. The mixture of vibrant colors and rich textures complement the mosaics of colorful art glass that divides the dining areas and the full bar.
Dramatic high ceilings feature suspended lights resembling floating disks. In the main dining room, two tables inside their own pods encourage a more secluded dining experience, or you can choose between two of our private dining areas. The semi-private dining room overlooks the patio and seats up to 16 guests and the private dining room can accommodate up to 35 guests. The contemporary atmosphere of Roux 3 complements the spirited American fusion cuisine.

OK food and atmosphere - service needs to improve
My husband and I have tried Roux 3 twice.
On a normal night, the food was acceptable (but not great), but the service wasn’t on par with the restaurant. I definitely don’t recommend going there for a special dinner, when they only offer a very limited price-fixe menu and they seem more interested in getting people through than making sure people enjoy the experience.
In our case, we went for New Year’s Eve. When we made the reservations, they didn’t mention that it was a price-fixe instead of their normal menu, and they also didn’t mention that our reservation was scheduled for about an hour before they were turning the lower part of the restaurant into a dance floor – and, of course, we were seated in this lower section. Not long after being seated, a DJ started setting up right beside us – close enough to be part of our conversation, not really great atmosphere for a fine dinner – and soon we noticed we were being really rushed through dinner. They literally stalked us like vultures as we tried to decide what to eat and drink, and courses arrived right on top of each other. Finally, we figured out what was going on – they needed us to be done with a 3-course price-fixe meal (apps, dinner, dessert) in less than an hour to get us off the dance floor. We got rushed out so quickly that we still had time to go out to a nicer place for drinks afterward because we felt like we’d just gone for fast food, not a dining experience!
I’m OK with price-fixe concept for special occasions (although they should tell you that when you make reservations) and having a dance floor, but they should have seated us away from it rather than rush us through. If they couldn’t do that, they should not taken the reservation, or at least explained what was going on so we had the option to wait for a better seat or go elsewhere.
