Stylish Greek with Traditional Flair
Might not be the toppermost of the poppermost on Toronto’s Danforth strip, but the food is solid, the decor is modern with subdued hues, the service is attentive and traditional. Patio is quite nice, and there’s a little cocktail bar next door when there’s waiting time for a table.
Saganaki Opa is a delight. Lamb is succulent whether souvlaki or roasted, and well spiced. Pork, which tends to be dry, is also juicy and tender. Oddly enough, the rice is excellent and potatoes nice and sour. The salad is less than one would hope, dressing pretty blah. Portions are large, though.
OVerall – very good, I keep going again and again.
