Newly open, Townsend’s Restaurant in Logan Square, Hyde Park next to Riverside Theaterworks offers up a casual upscale dining experience in its warm family run neighborhood restaurant. Enjoy an inventive menu, along with the warm glow provided by a large, stone fireplace and huge selection of micro brewed and draft beers. The wine list is also extensive. They offer a late night bar menu which is available till midnight. The restaurant will soon be followed by its sister store, TC’s Coffee House. This cozy cafe will feature breakfast and lunch sandwiches in a relaxed setting serving espresso, lattes and cappuccinos.

A Great Experience
Townsend’s provided one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time.
I had quite a bit of trouble choosing what to eat, because everything looked great, I settled on their shepherds pie. It was the correct choice for my first time there. I tried the lamb, the trout and the salmon as well. Everything was perfect.
In a neighborhood that is seriously lacking in the nice restaurant department, Townsend’s delivers. I will be going back.
