It's no Todai
As far as Japanese seafood buffets, Todai still takes the cake. I’ve heard that Lighthouse was the “original Todai” way back when, but that’s no excuse for not updating the interior since the 70s and having a woefully sparse and uninspiring buffet. Todai has 3 times the food and it’s all better quality for the same price.
There’s even a cheaper seafood buffet in the OC called Hokaido which is better in my opinion.
As I was eating I kept thinking 2 things:
- why does it feel like I’m in eating in a 70s diner?
- am I going to get sick from this?
