when i think of a roadside diner, full moon fits the bill w/its location (right on skokie hwy), booths and pie display. very homey, friendly (most times), and no-frills, this large diner serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner 24 hours a day. it’s right around the corner from the navy base and RFUMS, so i could always count on it to satisfy any late night breakfast cravings. serving sizes are hefty (as other reviewers have stated) and overall, full moon isn’t a bad place to catch an affordable late night meal w/friends or a casual breakfast w/family.

This place feels as though you are amoung family. It’s easily acessible from the Naval base and is affordable enough to eat at mutiple times a week! The staff is extremely friendly and hospitible. I personally know the night crew best. They treat their customers like family from the first time you walk through the door! The food comes in large portions for a very reasonable price. I usually only pay $18 for two people and we both need take away containers! If you ever need a wonderful home cooked meal, this is the place to go. Its definately a comfort zone for those of us away from home.

Full Moon is a great restaurant in the area of the Navy base that operates 24 hours. They offer just about everything, from sandwiches to pasta dishes to desserts. The food is good, some of the food choices are strange- but they offer everything including the increasingly hard to find Francheezies. I have been here numerous times as many restaurants in the area are closed somewhat early and the only options left are fast food. Full Moon has good food at reasonable prices, quick service and friendly staff. A good 24 hour place where you can grab a bite at any time.
