Large portions, great drinks, normal steaks
I was a little disappointed by the keg. The website looked amazing, and the person who made the reservation spoke very highly of it.
it wasn’t bad… it just wasn’t mind blowing. i did, however, really really love the twice-baked potato… but wouldn’t you know it, it was the one thing in texas that wasn’t humungous. i ordered the rib-eye, which i thought just wasn’t quite tasty or tender enough for me. I did hear that the classic filet was great. I also enjoyed my cocktail, a “miami”-something.

ribe eye
Pretty normal. Not anything spectacular in my book.

twice baked potato
comes with the steak plates, but this was amazing… bacon baked right into the potato. i had asked for a side of the 3 cheese butter to accompany it, but i totally didn’t need it. it was so tasty on it’s own!
-
chocolate pyramid
chocolate mousse in a pyramid shape, with a center of cold white chocolate mousse, atop a thin layer of sponge cake, with caramel sauce. i loved the white chocolate mousse part, but the miner’s cake just seemed like a better deal.
