mmmm homefries
I’ve seen Anne’s a lot and finally decided to check it out. The restaurant is not spectacular looking. It has many windows, kinda dirty, and few decorations. The prices here are pretty reasonable. They are generally around 5-6 dollars, which is a pretty good deal compared to many other restaurants. I was kind of glad the line to order was long since I didn’t know what to get. In the end, I decided to go with the a philly cheesesteak so I could get homefries.
The cheese steak wasn’t too big, although it was messy and delicious. The homefries though were really tasty. Every bite of the potatoes was crispy and with ketchup, awesome. The pancakes are all wheat I believe and didn’t look to shabby. The next time I come, I’ll check it out.
The food here is greasy goodness, and the with the cheap prices, makes this a nice place to eat for brunch without blowing money. They also have other food, such as burgers, sandwiches, breakfast all day, pasta and so on.

Philly Cheesesteak
Not a very big cheesesteak, but still good.
-
Homefries
Crunchy, potatoey goodness. Use ketchup for maximum tastiness.

Ann likes me fat
Oh I remember those lazy sundays in college, when you’d wake up late and hungry. There’s nothing like a short walk to Ann’s kitchen to fill you up.
There really isn’t much to the place. The decor is minimal, and the place isn’t the cleanest, and I also remember seeing jugs of oil in the kitchen. Mmm.
But the food here is good, like the huge pancakes and greasy homefries. The portions are big.
If you want a more high class brunch place, walk over to La Note. But you’ll feel at home at Ann’s with sweats on. And the food will make you full and happy.
