You just can’t go wrong with this restaurant. The food is excellent, the prices are reasonable and they have a very wine list. I’ve been there twice now and this restaurant has become my go-to with friends and family. My favorite part is that you don’t feel rushed by the staff. Highly recommend it.

Love this place! Great value and good sized portions. Service is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is as promised – casual. I stuck with the fixed price menu – 3 courses for $21 (salad, steak (or salmon) with frites, and chocolate terrine), but I added the lobster bisque which was delicious. Most of my friends did the same as me – fixed menu plus an additional appetizer. The 5 of us shared 2 bottles of wine and our total per person came to about 60 dollars. The 2003 Cote de Rhone is highly recommended – 48/bottle. I also love the small tiling on the floor and the brick and wood interior- really feels like an authentic French bistro.

Reasonably priced, good value. Reminds me of Cassis but less dust and cobwebs. I really enjoyed my beef tenderloin and scalloped potatoes, lemon tart. Next time I’ll try the fixed price menu (3 courses for $21).

Nice wines by the glass. And the big surprise was what a lovely, genuine room it is (old tile floor, mouldings) – hard to find in Vancouver. Makes it feel like you’re dining in a good (but casual) french restaurant in another, much older city. Pretty good service.

I like the idea of casual French dinning because I just can’t seem to get comfortable at a Crocodile/Lumier type setting. I had the salmon filet during my latest visit and it was cooked just right, and you really can’t go wrong with fries and mayo. Be sure to make reservations cuz you’re not getting a table just waltzing in.
