Never Again
et me preface this by saying I have eaten in tiny whole in the wall restaurants and upscale fine dining establishments around the World. This had to be the most atrocious customer service I have ever experienced We began the night excited to celebrate two birthdays and a pregnancy. The night ended with headaches and HUNGRY! We began by asking for bread four or five times. Two of us ordered glasses of wine one merlot, one shiraz. They were both the same, we literally saw them being poured out of the same bottle! Our pregnant friend requested her side rice be replaced with penne and was told NO, absolutely not. One of us ordered a pistachio crusted salmon that could have broken a window. When we complained the waitress then became hostile. She brought over the manager who proceeded to try to convince us that the salmon was perfect (what happened to the customer is always right?). He was basically confrontational and finally asked would you like something else. She asked for a plate of penne and would you believe that BOTH the salmon that was returned (untouched) and the plate of penne were ON THE BILL!! The straw that broke the camels back was when the waitress got down on her knees at an adjacent able and proceeded to talk about us to other patrons, LOUD enough for everyone at our table to hear. She had a few choice names for us and then the woman at the table asked if we were “regulars”. This conversation – about us- went on for a few minutes before we asked to see the manager and complained. We were given a new waiter Gino who was FANTASTIC. We were told that the desert and the coffee was on the house. Then one of the desserts we ordered never showed up! It was all too little too late…
