casual asian/sushi fusion
it’s outside decor isn’t much to look at, but the inside is quite the opposite of what you might expect to find. it’s trendy tropical, yet casual and fun. the food, like the previous reviewer stated, isn’t anything over the top or fancy, but still good. sushi is a bit pricey. a good place for groups. came during the week for a birthday party get-together, and it wasn’t too loud and just the nice relaxing type of ambiance i was looking for.

Ahi Tuna Burger
comes with a little spicy kick. the tuna itself was seared a tad too much (the edges were tough from being cooked too long), but i was starving so i couldn’t complain too much. the fries were medium-thin, fresh, and tasty. i’d probably order this burger again since i’m a sucker for ahi tuna in general.

Pu Pu Platter
a nice variety of deep-fried pupus to share with 4 or more people aplenty. comes w/a fun mix of dipping sauces.

Best Sushi Happy Hour in Venice
The food here is pretty good. Nothing too crazy, extravagant, or out of the ordinary… pretty standard stuff.
I recommend coming by for Happy Hour. Large Kirin beers and lots of sushi for not a lot of $$. Great service. Always consistently good. And a perfect location around the corner from my office. :)
It can get a tad crowded on weekend nights… especially when the cool kids come down to eat and James Beach is packed.

A good, understated restaurant. A mediocre façade hides great decor and atmosphere inside. Food, of the asian variety, was quite good, and the martinis were excellent, which is almost all that i can remember. I recommend getting reservations.
