Good Italian Food in Oakland

Da Vinci's Pasta & Pizza on 19th in Oakland is small but very good. Open only for lunch, they are always busy. Da Vinci's is very popular with the work crowd in the area. Get there by 11:30AM to get a table. Everything there is good;…

Lousy Service

Stopped in alone for lunch. Waiters saw me and did not acknowledge me. Within a minute a couple came in. Waiter said "2?" and seated them immediately. Same thing happened about 45 seconds later. Apparently singles aren't worth their…

Darn good

Ate there for lunch one day with a group, and was pleasantly surprised by the quality and quantity of the food, and the price. The Pasta Jambalaya was good and spicy, and the bread was great.
