From the Restaurant

Locke-Ober is a legendary dining room in the heart of Boston. In June of 2001, Winter Place LLC was founded by Paul Licari for the purpose of purchasing Locke-Ober, with partner nationally renowned Chef Lydia Shire. Lydia Shire in charge of Locke-Ober’s culinary legacy with Chef Mario Capone has accomplished what she had always envisioned, preserving the legacy while adding her creative genius to the menu. Alongside her dynamic cuisine, lies the sensational ambiance of this monument to art, history, and Boston itself. As managing general partner Licari oversees an exciting five hundred label wine list, a professional front of the house staff and a comprehensive private dining operation with the help of several extraordinary managers. Please note our dress code policy: no denim, athletic shoes, shorts or sports sandals are permitted in the dining room.
