Bad customer service. Tasty food. Avoid the Blonde hostess at all means possible.

I agree with mandeelish… this (like Blowfish) is the type of restaurant you go to when you want to pay a lot of money for too little food and don’t really want to hear any of the people you’re talking to. Even walking by this restaurant hurts my ears. I am just not big on the whole “play music really really loud” thing when I’m actually trying to talk to people during dinner. But if you’re just going for the bar, it is always crowded and filled with good looking people (and some of their specialty drinks are good too), just don’t waste your money trying to eat there.

this may, however, be a great place to take a date that you can’t stand listening to. like if your date sounds like Janice from Friends.

it gets two stars b/c the food is still ok… it’s just not great and it’s too expensive for what you get.

I must say that Straits has a nice, happening bar area for Santana Row-ers. However, I wouldn’t recommend this place for dinner.

The portions were small and the food didn’t live up to expectations. I did like the bowls that the noodles were served in, though. That’s about it.

I’d only come here for the bar. There’s usually a DJ here on weekend nights also.
