This was one of the hallmarks of my childhood in Coventry (and my parents as well). Dimitri’s has an extremely varied menu, and though it is best known for its pizza, there are some great seafood dishes, salads, grinders, salads, and much more. A beautiful dining room (which was added on in the late 1990’s) gives a sense of intimacy while not being difficult to maneuver. There is a sunken section of the dining room which is great for parties (I had my wedding rehearsal dinner there, and my 7th birthday party too, incidentally). The servers are very friendly, particularly if you get there right at 11 when they open. My friends and I have often been the first ones there. Take-out is great too, as there is a separate entrance for those picking up food, and a bar for those who plan on staying longer. Overall, the best place to eat in Coventry.
