From the Restaurant

CAV Wine Bar & Kitchen is one of San Francisco’s most innovative restaurants. We offer our guests a chance to enjoy a white tablecloth food and wine quality level in a casual, relaxed setting. Unlike other venues, our menu revolves around our global wine program, with great creativity and thought going towards each dish. Just about everything is house-made from the pasta to the charcuterie to the accouterments on our cheese plates. CAV is a full-scale restaurant with choices for vegetarians and the more carnivorous diners. Our highly praised wine list includes 250 selections that span the globe from Turkey to Napa Valley. We have 50 wines by the glass in addition to weekly and monthly wine flights. The floor staff is very well versed in wine and wine and food pairing and is always eager to help guide your dining experience. “Three meals, three winning experiences,” Michael Bauer, San Francisco Chronicle Best Wine Bar – Sunset Magazine, 2007 Wine Awards
