From the Restaurant

Incontro Restaurant and Lounge has brought award winning cuisine and a metropolitan style lounge to the suburbs. Conveniently nestled 100 yards off 495, inside the beautifully restored Brookdale Mill. Meaning “Encounter” in Italian, Incontro's food and atmosphere is only part of the story. Go upstairs and encounter the gleaming wood bar and the glowing candle lights. Cozy fireplaces, oversized leather chairs, plush round booths and a baby grand piano fill the lounge area. Step into our billiard parlor and discover twelve elegant championship billiard tables. No expense has been spared in transforming this 19th century textile mill into a dining and entertainment destination for Metro West and all of Rhode Island. Chef Bill Bradley is at the helm of this cruise ship of a restaurant, navigating you through regions of Italy with every taste and turn. From the crispy calamari to the Neapolitan style pizza it’s a delicious journey seldom traveled in these parts.

Great Food, Nice Atmosphere

We went to Incontro for my birthday. Good thing we made reservations because it was a 2 hour wait for a table. Our server was not very good. We waited a ridiculously long time for drinks, apps, etc… but we weren’t in a rush. The food was excellent and the place is beautiful. The lounge is also really nice, adorned with leather couches and had a very comfortable feel. They also have billards outside of the lounge. I would definitely go back.

What I ate:
  • *****

Cooked perfectly, perfect size and came with a delicious twice baked potato. Yum!

  • ****

Creamy, cheesy and filling. Drizzled with truffle oil. Delish
