From the General Manager
XiaoGou, the General Manager, says:
This eclectic Asian Fusion destination offers more than the usual Chinese restaurant culprits. Start with a Sushi bar serving only the freshest fish, add a menu sprinkled with authentic Chinese delicacies you’ve probably not had unless you’ve dined in China, and stir with enormous cocktails and an extensive list of wines picked to match the cuisine. Live music on Thursdays, Fridays and some Sundays is in a jazz vein and quite approachable. Dining at Szechuan Tokyo is not an expensive proposition; there’s even free parking! Come join the party!

Jazz 'n Sushi
The great live jazz at this handsome Chinese/Japanese restaurant is a local best-kept-secret. Performances take place Thursday and Friday in the main dining room. Chinese specialties were very flavorful and authentic; many are spicy Sichuan dishes. Be careful, when they say spicy, they mean it! Sushi was very fresh and generously-portioned. A teriyaki steak with onions was superb on one visit; over-cooked on another. Drinks are huge and occasionally too strong. The prices are remarkably low for food of this quality.
