udon is their specialty...
at this very homey, small, mom ‘n pop shop in novi. rightfully so, this place is usually packed w/long wait times given its popularity and small size. they also serve sushi rolls as well as a curry rice dish (which isn’t on the menu, but very excellent from what i hear).

Duck Udon
i was almost half-expecting dry, super tough and chewy duck pieces w/my udon, but i was surprised to find a hefty portion of medium-sliced extra fatty, tender duck pieces floating in my soup. i’m so happy i gave this duck udon soup a try…very satisfying.
