Great intimate restaurant with Friendly Staff
My wife and I went there on v-day really enjoyed the experience. The food was great and the desserts were fantastic. Small restaurant with unique dishes and innovative flavors. The staff was helpful in choosing a good wine and enjoyable meal.

charming french/american fine dining
sweets & savories offers an intimate yet charming dining experience. granted i’ve only been here once, i left w/no inhibitions about returning for another fine meal.
i chose the prixe fix 7-course tasting menu, and although not all the dishes were to my liking, i enjoyed the unique mix of dishes and the different flavors & presentation. (the cuisine here is contemporary american meets foo-foo french.)
the service was attentive & friendly yet very professional.
if you’re looking for a romantic dinner date spot or craving a fine-dining experience, check this place out.
-
Pork and Rabbit Tenderloin
by this dish of the tasting menu, i was already feeling full so i don’t think i fully appreciated the yumminess of this meat. no complaints from me though.
-
Greens over Oranges
for orange slices and a few greens, very refreshing and flavorful (my table was in awe).
-
Gorgonzola, fig and fig chutney over crackers
another light dish of our tasting menu. go fig chutney! sweet, jelly-like – i ate it all up!
-
Chocolate Sorbet
my mouth waters just thinking about it. a bit grainy (from the cocoa?), giving it a homemade quality. not for the faint of hearts. 5+ stars if i could.
-
STICKY TOFFEE BREAD PUDDING
another dessert winner! sweet (but not too sweet), unique in flavor, and cooked w/love (or so it seemed). i love bread pudding!
-
Complimentary truffles
just when you thought you were all done, they bring out chocolate truffles for the table! absolutely decadent & delicious. strong on the chocolate cocoa – how can you go wrong?
-
BRANDADE
a different kind of spread. creamy, pasty, heavy on the garlic, with fish chunks. unique taste. i’d order this as an appetizer again.
-
SAFFRON TOMATO FONDANT
3.5 stars – definitely different. i’ve never had something quite like this. for a tomato puree, suprisingly not too tomatoey (acidic), but rather sweet, light, and refreshing. i don’t think i’d order this dish a la carte, but as part of the tasting menu, a nice way to start a meal.
-
SEARED SCALLOPS
fabulous! although our tasting menu offered one scallop, it was so tender, warm, and delicious. just a hint of ‘sea salt flavor’ to give it that fresh feeling, but not so overpowering to turn you away from it. the mango coulis underneath was heaven!
-
MEDITERRANEAN SEAFOOD STEW
this dish was just ok for me. probably my least favorite dish on our tasting menu. i’m not big on tomato-based foods (upsets my stomach), so it was a miss for me. the mussels i enjoyed, but the fish was a bit more on the tougher side (nature of the fish).
