As another reviewer has written, the credit card machine mysteriously “breaks” when it’s time to pay, and they request you sign a handwritten receipt. Naive fool I was, I thought nothing of it. Signed my name and was on my way. …Only to later check my account and find they’d charged me twice! Excellent. And I have no receipt to return because I wasn’t given one. Yes, I was a fool. But you don’t have to be. I showed up a few times later, called a few times. When I showed up in person, I was always told I would need to speak with a manager, who wasn’t there that night – convenient, right? On my phone calls, I was told “it’d be taken care of” and never was – of course. So don’t get scammed like I was. My review involves their little scam over me, and maybe I wouldn’t feel so burned if the food had been special or the sangria hadn’t been weak and foul. If you’re in the neighborhood, you can’t sneeze without hitting a restaurant – go somewhere else. Anywhere else. You’ll be better off. To the owner and staff at Bamboleo: Shame on you.
