The system didn’t let me give zero stars or I would. The owners of this DB (also own the one at Xerxes and 50th) are the worst. I was a regular customer here for years, but when they bought the place around 11/08, they messed up the whole place with poor attitude and customer service. If you don’t buy a coffee immediately upon arrival, they’ll come up to you and ask you to do so or leave. If you stay on the computer for more than 30 minutes even though you’ve purchased something, they’ll ask you to leave. Soon after they bought it, they put up little placards on the tables threatening to ask you to leave if you stay too long. Yep, this is what coffee shops are all about! I’ve been boycotting since 1/08 after the little placards went up and will continue to do so until there are new owners. Come join me (and a bunch of other DB-LH regulars) at the Sebastian Joe’s around the corners, Java Jack’s, Caribou on France and 44th or 50ths, or Java Jack’s.
