Portions are huge, I always get the shrimp, but the whole red snapper is usually good. Yummy margaritas too! Great atmosphere for a fun time with friends. Have yet to try the platters made for two, overflowing with meats and seafood… anyone up for that?
yummers
yum yum yum.
I went here on a Monday night and had a wonderful appetizer and some ceviche. Their margaritas are good and strong and the fish is fresh. Also, they serve wonderful spicy and mild moles with large round tortillas and they have cute little limes at the tables to serve all of your limey needs. The outdoor seating area is cute. Overall, it was a deliciously good time.
Next time, I’m going for the whole red snapper!

mole
The moles they provide with the meal are wonderful. One is sweet / roasted and one is spicy. Both are delicious.

Love the Red Snapper!
The whole red snapper is awesome here! The deep fried fish is giant and flavorful. I got it with garlic and grilled onions and I couldn’t have asked for more. I shared this with a friend and I was glad I did since it’s so big. I just wish the service was a little faster.

Amazing Authentic The Hooters of the Yucatan
The fish here is red snapper for sure! The menu is hit your neighbors huge as well as all of the dishes. The platters of fresh fish are more than anyone could finish. The service can be slow and the place can be noisy. I have been going back every summer. A word of advice the $9.00 pitcher of margaritas will need an extra shot or two, and the must have item is the whole red snapper—deep fried…..tastes like chicken! This place is filled with families at all hours of the night. Get ready for some good mariscos!
