We decided to try out the new restaurant at the Four Seasons this past weekend. Overall, our experience was not satisfying. The food is extremely overpriced for what you get. For example, any main dish you order does not come with any sides. If you order steak you get just the steak, no sides. Same with the other dishes. One dish we ordered was the tomato and mozzarella salad. The cheese was good, however, the tomatoes were completely mushy. This really ruined the dish.
Also, the restaurant is extremely loud. It was very difficult to speak over others in the restaurant and the loud music.
Lastly, and worst of all, we were CHARGED TWICE for our meal. We went back on Sunday to discuss this issue with the manager. He was extremely rude and unhelpful. His reply was that Edge is required to do that to keep with credit card regulations. (?!?) And that one of the charges should be credited back to the account Monday or maybe Tuesday. He also said that we could speak with the accounting department if we wished. So, we were charged over $300.00 for this two person meal. We’ve eaten at restaurants much fancier and classier then ‘Edge’ and NEVER have we been charged twice!!!! The manager acted as if this was the first he’d heard of such a problem—being charged twice. However, when we went in we initially spoke with the host at the front of the restaurant and explained our issue to her. It was quite obvious from her response that we were not the first ones to have this issue.
We will not be frequenting this restaurant again, Elway’s is much better both for the quality of food, atmosphere, and treatment by waitstaff/mgmt etc. If you do go to this restaurant I suggest paying with cash!!!
