3.0without knowing much about san diego, we drove our way down to seaport village for a quick lunch before heading back up to orange county. in our haste, we parked outside the parking lot w/o realizing that 2 hrs free parking is offered w/validation. (stinkers #1) we walked into edgewater grill wanting to grab breakfast foods w/an ocean view, but were sad to find breakfast is only served til 11AM. (stinkers #2) i ordered a lunch special, knowing that my grilled ahi tacos were likely a leftover concoction but went ahead anyways. when my dish came out, it was a rather pathetic example of a taco – take a look at the pictures. (stinkers #3) the only positives were the view – a nice relaxing look onto the bay, and our server.
you get a decent size bowl big enough to split w/another compadre. it’s not too watery, and just chunky enough to taste yum in your mouth.
a sad example of a taco plate. i can’t believe i paid $14.95 for this.

3.0If you want fish and chips, go to one of the cheaper places that serve it out of a window. Fish and chips just isn’t something that really feels worth it at a nicer place like this. Sure the view was nice, but you could also go buy your food elsewhere and sit even closer to the water! Now I know for next time.
Pretty standard, which is somewhat disappointing when it’s served at a restaurant. Coleslaw was a bit bland too.
Tasted ok at the time, but then my stomach started hurting. Maybe it was too creamy for my lactose-intolerant stomach…
